Shibari Exhibition with Hajime Kinoko at The San Diego Museum of Art
The San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park presents a groundbreaking interactive performance art piece featuring renowned Shibari artist Hajime Kinoko, directed by Brittany Wilkins, produced by Leon Galek (Phantasm). This unique event delves into the transformative journey of a plant's germination, brought to life through the intricate art of Shibari.
Join us for a captivating evening at the San Diego Museum of Art, where renowned rope artist Hajime Kinoko presents "The First Rose," an enchanting immersive performance that explores the delicate beauty of nature through the art of rope.
The Divine Comedy II: The Red Thread feat Haijme Kinoko (Toyko)
In THE RED THREAD we are featuring Contemporary artist, Shibari master, Rope artist, photographer HAJIME KINOKO from Toyko, Japan. Kinoko not only considers shibari to be erotic but is also good at giving it pop interpretation and promote it to art. His unique ties incorporating nature (such as trees and rocks) as well as projects involving the innovative use of space have especially won praise. In addition to performing live rope shows, he has recently been actively releasing artwork including photographs and video, often being in charge of tying, photography, and direction. He is also well known outside of Japan, having conducted workshops in more than 20 major cities such as Paris, London, and Munich as well as in Japan. Kinoko is a rope specialist representing Japan.
Hajime Kinoko Advanced Suspension Workshop
We look forward to an advanced suspension workshop with Kinoko! We will primarily be working on bamboo which is provided by the studio but feel free to bring your own bamboo or a ring / hardpoint of your choice if you prefer.
Please bring 6-8 suspension ready and quality lenghs of rope
Your own safety sheers / cutting instrument
Must have suspension ready and proficent chest harness and hip harness prepared
Must have proficency in upline management skills

Bring your blankets, your stuffies, pillows and tired bodies to the gayest little aftercare kiki you ever did see! That’s right Mistress Mary Jane will be hosting a Pride weekend aftercare party. There will be tea service, sound healing and queer bedtime stories to help you wind down from the festivities of the weekend. Come join us in the sweetest of consensual cuddle puddles and let’s end Pride weekend together with a collective and satisfied sigh.
